Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services of Zambou Tax Service. By using our services or submitting payment, you agree to all the terms outlined below. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the “client”) and Zambou Tax Service (“we,” “our,” “the company”).

1. No Refund Policy

All payments made to Zambou Tax Service are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Dissatisfaction with the service or result;

  • Delays in the preparation or submission of tax returns;

  • Unexpected or undesired tax outcomes;

  • Rejected, adjusted, or reassessed returns by Revenu Québec or the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA);

  • Penalties or interest charges resulting from late filing, regardless of cause.

2. Processing Times

The standard processing time for a tax return is 7 to 10 business days, provided that the client has submitted all required documents and cooperated in a timely manner.

In some cases (e.g., high volume periods, complex files, missing documents, late responses, or technical issues), processing may take up to 4 months. No refunds or compensation will be issued for delays.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Zambou Tax Service does not guarantee any specific outcome, including:

  • The amount of tax refund;

  • Eligibility or approval for tax credits;

  • Decisions made by Revenu Québec or the CRA.

Any estimate provided before final submission is for informational purposes only and may differ from the final outcome.

4. Client Responsibility

The client is entirely responsible for providing:

  • Complete, legible, and accurate documents;

  • Correct personal and financial information (income, deductions, credits, etc.);

  • Updates or changes in a timely manner.

Zambou Tax Service is not liable for consequences caused by omissions, incorrect information, or delays originating from the client.

5. Penalties and Interest

We are not responsible for any penalties, interest, or late fees imposed by Revenu Québec or the CRA, including those due to:

  • Delayed submission;

  • Incomplete documentation;

  • Legislative or policy changes;

  • Government agency decisions or errors.

6. Review and Client Verification

Although Zambou Tax Service performs multiple verifications and confirmations with the client before submission, it remains the client’s responsibility to:

  • Review and approve the final tax return;

  • Ensure all data is correct prior to submission;

  • Retain a copy of all supporting documents.

7. Remote Service Delivery

Zambou Tax Service operates primarily virtually/online. All communications, document exchanges, approvals, and e-signatures have the same legal value as in-person services.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to safeguarding your personal and tax information. However, the client acknowledges that electronic communication inherently carries certain risks (e.g., hacking, data loss), which are beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zambou Tax Service’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

We will not be held liable for any indirect, punitive, exemplary damages or loss of income.

10. Service Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time, particularly in cases of:

  • Abusive or inappropriate client behavior;

  • Suspicion of fraud;

  • Breach of these terms.

No refunds will be issued if the service is terminated for valid reasons.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec (or Canada, depending on the business's legal registration).

Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the judicial district corresponding to the company’s head office.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By making a payment or signing an engagement form, the client confirms they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms and Conditions.

This consent is final and irrevocable, even in the case of future disagreement.
