We provide newcomers with the opportunity to take advantage of our complimentary tax services. When individuals arrive in Canada, they often experience a cultural adjustment as they adapt to a new country with different laws, an unfamiliar economic system, and a distinct climate. In recognition of these challenges, we have made it our mission to assist them during their first year by offering free tax filing services under specific conditions. Additionally, we host a free presentation at the end of the tax season in the month of June to educate them about the Canadian tax system.

Eligibilty
Eligibility for the Tax-O Program: Free Tax Filing for Newcomers

The Tax-O program offers free tax filing services to eligible newcomers to Canada. To qualify for this service, you must meet the following requirements:

Newcomer Status: You must have recently arrived in Canada in 2024.

Income Limit: Your total income for the year must be $15,000 or less.

If you meet these two criteria, you are eligible for free tax preparation and filing assistance through the Tax-O program, allowing you to submit your tax declaration without any cost.
